Dear Members.

Over the past year, Causeway GAA has undertaken a comprehensive photographic history project, meticulously curating and reorganizing the most significant milestones in our proud hurling tradition. 

To date, our club has won nine county championships. The first title was secured in 1932, though regrettably, no photographic record of this historic victory exists. It would be another 47 years before Causeway celebrated again, marking the beginning of our legendary four-in-a-row era from 1979 to 1982. 

Further success came in 1987, and after an 11-year gap, we claimed another championship in 1998. In recent years, our winning tradition has continued with titles in 2019 and 2022. The club has also enjoyed notable achievements at Intermediate, Under 21, and Junior levels. 

We extend our sincere gratitude to Seamus Buckley, Club Membership Officer, for his outstanding dedication in compiling and organising the photographic archive. The collection is now proudly displayed in the clubhouse meeting room.

With our AGM scheduled for this Friday, the 28th, members will have the opportunity to view the exhibit and share memories of these victories.
