We are delighted to announce that both the 2018 and 2020 Sports Equipment Grants have now been officially approved by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media. This approval marks the conclusion of a lengthy process that has spanned several years, and we acknowledge the significant effort required to reach this milestone. 

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Jason Kearney, whose dedication and hard work were instrumental in bringing these grants to completion. His commitment and perseverance have been invaluable in ensuring these legacy grants were finalised. 

With the approval secured, the sports equipment has now been ordered. Preparations are actively underway to receive the equipment, which is expected to arrive in early December. 

We would also like to express our appreciation to all members who have generously given their time to help prepare the gym. Their voluntary contribution has been crucial in getting the space ready for the new equipment, and we are grateful for their ongoing commitment to our club’s development. 

 

The 2023 Sports grant is also provisionally available for formal approval as the club sees fit.
